In this talk, Adnan will show how textual data from tweets can be processed and used to predict personality traits and how such frameworks can be used to generate credit scores. He will also show how to reduce the noise in such data by using the network effect.

About the speaker

Adnan Khalid

Unit Head Data Science at HBL Microfinance Bank

Adnan has several years of senior level data science experience in banking, retail and consultancy industries. He also co-founded a data science consultancy company that won two prestigious national awards. Currently he is heading data science at HBL Microfinance bank. Over the years he has developed and deployed many data science solutions at large organisations including recommender systems, NLP based models, supply chain solutions, credit scorecards and chatbots.
Adnan has his university degree in Economics and Business and a data science specialization from Johns Hopkins and 4 CEUs in data science from MIT Professional Development, and is a passionate life-long learner in data science and AI.
